DMCA Policy

Wcc Tourney Results respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Wcc Tourney Results service that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Wcc Tourney Results website by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement

To file a DMCA notice, your communication must include substantially the following:

  1. Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list of such works.
  2. Identify the material that you claim is infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity) and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL(s)).
  3. Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  4. Include both of the following statements in the body of the notice:
    • "I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)."
    • "I hereby state that the information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
  5. Provide your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).

Once a complete and valid DMCA Notice is received, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by submitting written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. Pursuant to the DMCA, the Counter-Notification must include substantially the following:

  • Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  • Include both of the following statements in the body of the notice:
    • "I hereby state, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."
    • "I hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Wcc Tourney Results may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person."
  • Provide your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will promptly forward a copy to the person who submitted the original DMCA notification. If the copyright owner does not file an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity on Wcc Tourney Results within 10-14 business days of receiving the counter-notification, we may reinstate the removed material or cease disabling access to it.
